Matthew is a graduate student in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT. He received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2016. He worked at a startup company and at several research institutions before deciding to go to graduate school. While he finds many things interesting, his current work revolves around ultrafast optics and free-electron lasing.
